What do these titles mean?
CD: Companion Dog is the first level obedience title granted by the American Kennel Club.
CGC: Canine Good Citizen is a program administered by the American Kennel Club. Dogs who pass
must demonstrate the ability to meet and greet a stranger politely, walk on a loose leash, walk through a crowd
without overt reaction and under control, meet a strange dog without signs of aggression or overt interest, do a down
and sit stay, and come, and sit with a stranger out of site from the owner without showing undue anxiety.
WS: Working Samoyed is the first level working title granted by the Samoyed Club of America.
Samoyeds must accumulate 1000 points in one of the following areas, competitive sledding, carting; excursion sledding or carting;
competitive skijoring; excursion skijoring; herding; weightpull; therapy.
WSX: Working Samoyed Excellent is the second level working title granted by the Samoyed Club of America.
Samoyeds must accumulate 2000 points in the same areas as listed above.
HCT-s: Herding Capability Tested, sheep. Title granted by the American Herding Breeds Association
to dogs that have passed a herding instinct and capability test. Dogs must show sustained interest in stock and be able
to show the ability to move a small flock in a pen.
Int Ch: International Champion. A conformation title granted by the International All breed
Canine Association. A dog must obtain three V1 (the highest rating) ratings from different judges, from more than one
country.
Am Ch: American Champion. A conformation title granted by the American Kennel Club. Dog must earn
15 points, including two "major's" (3 points or more per win) under different judges to earn the Champion title.
